VOLUNTEERING POLICIES

• The “Volunteer Reflection Sheet” must be filled out in order to receive points

• here must be an adult (18+ years of age) present while volunteering

• 1 hour of volunteering=100 points

 

 

ATTENDING A PERFORMANCE POLICIES

 

• The “Attending a Performance Reflection Sheet” must be filled out in order to receive points

• One or more of the performers must be performing on a violin for at least one piece

• A program or self-written list of pieces performed must be included

• It is necessary to stay for the entire performance (in consideration for the performers and other audience members)

• 1 concert attended=80 points 

 

VIOLIN TUTORING POLICIES

 

• The “Violin Tutoring Reflection Sheet” must be filled out in order to receive points

• utoring is helping or assisting another person free of charge

• Tutoring on violin must not be assigned by another teacher in order to receive points

• There must be an adult (18+ years of age) present or as a witness while tutoring

• ½ an hour (30 minutes) of tutoring=50 points 

 

Teaching Violin Lessons Policies

 

• The “Teaching Violin Reflection Sheet” must be filled out in order to receive points

• There must be an adult (18+ years of age) present or as a witness while tutoring

• ½ an hour (30 minutes) of teaching violin=50 points 

 

 

Performing Violin Policies

• The “Performing Violin Reflection Sheet” must be filled out in order to receive points

• Performing includes playing a complete work of music from start to finish for an audience of at least 4 people

• Performing must be done by you, playing either solo (alone) or with piano accompaniment

• There must be an adult (18+ years of age) present or as a witness in the audience

• Each piece performed=30 points OR 6 minutes of performing=30 points
